My journey started in 2006 on 'DJ Hero', a game for PlayStation. Obsessed, I planted that seed into my first deck & began practicing. Fast forward to 2024, I have now played at local events, festivals, weddings, open mics, birthday parties and event released my own mixes online for others to vibe to. My style expands from jungle and house all the way through afrobeats and hip-hop. I'm honored to share my gift of curation with others and also teach this style of music control with newcomers
If your venue doesn't have the equipment listed, the DJ can usually arrange all or part of it themselves. Ask them directly through the chat.
DJ lessons include revision of the basics: BPM, Rhythm, Song choice, Queues, and simple fading. Students will learn to trust their intuition, follow the music, and even read the room with active exercises that help an aspiring DJ become better at curating for crowds versus playing for dance events/parties. My teaching style is patient, soft spoken, and filled with listening. That is the gift of a true DJ: knowing how to listen, before you play. Join me as we grow together
Every DJ is hand-verified: ID, past events, references, and a real portfolio. Their profile shows you who they are: audio samples, gig photos, music styles they own, and reviews from clients who actually booked them. You can also message the DJ directly to talk about your event, share references, or ask for a custom quote before committing.
Yes, all payments flow through Djaayz's secure escrow. Your payment are held by us and only released to the DJ 24h after the event, once you've confirmed everything went well. An automated invoice will be sent to your inbox after the event.
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the event, 50% refund between 30 and 7 days. Inside 7 days it's non-refundable.
Most things can be arranged for a small fee. Use the "Ask a question" button to chat directly with MADSPILL before you book, they'll send you a quote if needed. If you'd rather not negotiate yourself, our booking team can handle it for you.
Most clients book 6 to 12 weeks in advance. Popular dates (New Year’s Eve, Halloween, public holidays, etc.) fill up quickly. For last-minute bookings, please contact the DJ directly to check availability before booking.
