On Djaayz, £150 is the minimum amount for a DJ lesson or a 1h30 DJ set including the equipment for 50 pax.The voucher can be used for a booking with a different amount (higher or below the voucher’s amount). The voucher is valid for 1 year. All vouchers are non-refundable.

What is DJ lessons? Have you always dreamt of mixing? Or are you a DJ looking to perfect your skills? We are launching a new service on Djaayz: DJ lessons. With the DJ lessons: - Learn the basics or perfect your skills online or at home.- Try professional equipment and experienced tutors.- Flexible schedules to suit everyone. How does it works? Whether on the app or on the web, fill in your city, click on “Show teachers only” and click search. In the filters, you can select your level (kids, beginner, intermediate or advanced) and where you would like the lessons to take place: at your home or online. For online lessons, the DJ will help you with the software to download, and for lessons at your home, the DJs will bring their equipment. Once you have found the profile that matches your needs, you can book the DJ in the application by clicking on "Book a DJ lesson" and following the booking instructions.You can also contact the DJ in the chat room if you have any further questions, or contact us: clienthelp@djaayz.com.

What is "Brief Us" and how does it work?

You have the possibility to post brief us, describing your needs and budget for your event. Djaayz will send your request to DJs that fit your criteria for you to select and book a DJ. How does it work? 1. Post your request in just a few clicks by entering your event details: - location, date, time, length... - Select if you need the DJ to bring their equipment or not. You can select all or partial pieces of equipment. If you need the equipment, the DJ will organise it for you. If you do not need it, you will need to arrange the DJ's technical equipment (CDJs, speakers, mic, cables/connections) at your own cost. - You set up your maximum budget. Please note, your budget must include the DJ's transportation fee to your event (back and forth). - You can define how many offers you want to receive from DJs. 2. Your request will be sent to DJs that fit your criteria. When DJs receive your request, they can: - Send you a message to discuss the details before sending their offer. - Apply to your request and send you an offer. The DJ's offer can be less or equal to your maximum budget. - Decline your request if they are not available or it does not fit them. 3. When you receive offers from DJs, you can: - Send a message to the DJ to discuss the details before accepting their offer. You can discuss the equipment with the DJ in the chat room directly in-app to make sure you or the DJ can arrange everything you need. - Accept the offer. Once you accept an offer, you will be debited from the payment method you filled in and a booking will be created. - Decline the offer. - In the eventuality that you do not receive any satisfying offer, you can request to send your ad to more DJs

You can book a DJ in another country than were you live.However, the event address must be in the country where the DJ is located.For example: you are in the UK and your event is in France. You can look for a DJ in France. When you indicate the address of the event, it must be located in France.

What is the maximum distance a DJ can perform at?

Yes, you can update your booking by going to your booking and clicking on “edit”. However, you can only change the date or place of your booking once. If you have already changed this information or if the DJ is not available on this date / place, you will have to cancel your booking.

You can find all your bookings in the app in the 'Bookings' tab, then 'Past'.You can then press the button repeat booking to copy all the event details from your previous booking.You'll need to enter the new event date and edit any details if needed.

Djaayz selects DJs via a strict validation process guaranteeing the quality and seriousness of each DJ in the app. We check their identity documents, their experiences, their professionalism... We also request and verify that all DJs have an appropriate legal status. Beyond the validation process, we also have an internal rating on the quality of the DJ's profile (photos, biography, number of followers on Instagram, links to demos, experiences...), which governs the ranking and visibility of profiles of DJs in the application. Finally, Djaayz awards the "SuperDJ" badge to DJs who meet our internal selection criteria.

- Remember to contact the DJ via the Djaayz chat room to organize the equipment. - Think about where you want to place the DJ: the DJ booth should be near electrical outlets or somewhere easy to reach for extension cables. - Please provide a solid table for the DJ. Also plan a space big enough for the DJ to have room to mix in a suitable place. - Allow enough space between the DJ and the dancefloor so that guests do not disturb the DJ or damage the equipment. - You will need to protect the equipment: if the DJ is mixing outside, make sure you have a tent and protect the electrical outlets, the weather can always turn bad. - Provide water for the DJ during his set. You can also ask him if he wants something in particular via the chat room if you wish.

Does the DJ bring his or her own equipment?

Up to 50 peopleThe DJ will bring his own equipment. A supplement of £50 will then be automatically added to your basket. This service cannot be canceled because the DJ needs to have adequate equipment which is specific to each DJ.
